Tanka engineers has submitted its business case findings to Duqm quarries for commercialization of the high-grade limestone available in Duqm. Tanka Engineers has evaluated business case options including setting up clinker unit, Quick lime & hydrated lime unit & soda ash Plant in the Duqm SEZD Zone.

Duqm quarries will use the business case reports of Tanka engineers for their discussions with potential investors for setting up such business units in partnership with them. Tanka Engineers is also reviewing the possibilities of setting up the first flat glass unit in Oman. Stewart Engineers, a privately held and family-owned organization consisting of glass industry experts & with headquarters in North Carolina, is providing Tanka engineers with design and cost estimates for this study.
