Tanka Engineers LLP is proud to announce its successful role in the development, execution, and commissioning of the Jonnagiri Gold Ore Processing Plant in Andhra Pradesh — a landmark project widely recognised as India’s first large-scale private gold mine.

The Jonnagiri project represents a major step forward for India’s gold mining and mineral processing sector. Tanka Engineers was involved across the complete project journey — from metallurgical test work support and pilot plant development to full-scale process design, layout engineering, procurement, construction planning, installation, commissioning, manpower development, and operational advisory.

The plant has successfully achieved its nameplate capacity, with process recovery reported to be higher than the recovery projected during metallurgical test work, demonstrating the robustness of the design, execution, and operating practices adopted for the project.

Complete EPCM Scope Delivered

Tanka Engineers LLP completed the full EPCM scope for the plant and related infrastructure, covering process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, control systems, CCTV surveillance, fire-fighting systems, HT power line, substation, and commissioning. The project completion certificate issued by Geomysore Services India Pvt. Ltd. formally acknowledges Tanka Engineers’ role in the engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning of the Jonnagiri Gold Ore Processing Plant.
