Tanka Engineers LLP was commissioned by a Mining house based out in the Middle east to carry out due -diligence on a Tantalum Project in Egypt. The Tantalum-Tin project had a JORC certified resource with a bankable study being completed. Tanka Engineers evaluated the metallurgical part including the test works carried out, Process selection, capital and operating cost estimates.

Tantalite Concentrate, Tin ingots and Tantalum ‘glass’ were the desired end products in the proposed 2mtpa operation. The findings of Tanka Engineers along with identified risks, gaps, a possible change in estimates were documented and submitted.
