Lithium, a key component in electric vehicle batteries and renewable energy storage, is primarily found in pegmatite minerals and clay. In India, promising lithium-rich areas include Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and recently identified sites in J&K with aluminous laterite hosted mineralization. Our team explored these areas firsthand, recognizing their potential. However, India’s lithium exploration is still in its infancy.
