Tanka Engineers Delivers the Altyn Tor Gold Project in the Kyrgyz Republic

Tanka Engineers LLP has delivered the Altyn Tor Gold Recovery Plant at Solton-Sary, in the Kyrgyz Republic. The plant was inaugurated online on 12 September 2026 by H.E. Sadyr N. Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is a proud milestone for the project and for Indian engineering abroad.

Altyn Tor is the first Indian investment in the Kyrgyz gold mining sector to reach the operational stage.

A full-scope EPCM delivery

Tanka Engineers was engaged on a full EPCM basis. Our scope covered process design, detailed engineering, procurement and construction management, through to commissioning of the carbon-in-leach (CIL) gold recovery plant.

Engineering at 3,000 m

The site sits at roughly 3,000 m in the Tien Shan mountains. Winters are severe, and the working season is short. Delivering the plant under these conditions reflects both our engineering depth and our resilience on the ground. It is the kind of remote, complex assignment Tanka Engineers is built for.

Congratulations to our partners

We congratulate Deccan Gold Mines Limited and OsOO Avelum Partner on this achievement. We also thank them for a close, collaborative working relationship throughout the engagement.

Mr. Vivek Ranganathan, Managing Director, Tanka Engineers LLP:
“Altyn Tor shows what our team can deliver, from the first drawing to the first gold, in some of the toughest conditions we have worked in. We are proud to have supported Deccan Gold Mines and Avelum Partner, and we look forward to building on this success across our international portfolio.”
