Tanka Engineers’ Project In-charge Honoured with Kyrgyzaltyn’s “For Cooperation” Medal

Tanka Engineers LLP is pleased to announce that Mr. C. Thiruvengadam, Project In-charge for the Altyn Tor Gold Recovery Plant in Kyrgyzstan, has been awarded the Medal “For Cooperation” by Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC, the Kyrgyz Republic’s state-owned gold mining company.

Presented on the occasion of Kyrgyzaltyn’s founding anniversary, the honour recognises Tanka’s contribution to the project undertaken by Avelum Partner LLC in partnership with Kyrgyzaltyn.

Located at Solton-Sary, the Altyn Tor Gold Recovery Plant is a significant project in Tanka’s international portfolio. Tanka’s engagement covered process design, detailed engineering, procurement and construction management, through to commissioning of the carbon-in-leach gold recovery plant.

Commenting on the recognition, Mr. Vivek Ranganathan, Managing Director, Tanka Engineers LLP, said:

“This is a proud moment for CT and everyone at Tanka. His commitment on the ground, together with the efforts of our engineering and project teams, helped turn plans into an operating plant under demanding conditions. We thank Kyrgyzaltyn for this recognition and our partners, Avelum Partner and Deccan Gold Mines, for their trust and close cooperation.”

Tanka congratulates Mr. Thiruvengadam on this honour and extends its appreciation to the entire project team for their dedication and contribution.
